Confidentiality

As a member of BACP and UKCP, I am bound by their code of ethics, and should you wish to view this, please look under the relevant websites listed on the left.

I will keep what you say confidential, and it will only be discussed if there appears to be a possibility of you harming yourself or others. Ideally I would discuss it with you before breaking confidentiality.

Like all counsellors, I do have supervision to help me understand what is happening with my cases. In such a case the client is identified by first name only, and no identifying details are disclosed.
